Community

Heaton House is extremely proud of being part of the local community, through business, education and charity.

Events:

Every year we hold fundraising events and 2025 will be no different!

We will be posting on this page about our next event, so be sure to keep checking back!

Education:
We have always believed in education and ensure that all our staff are continually given the opportunity to gain new qualifications or improve on those they already have. Many of our staff have remained with us for many years and we believe that our investment in them has helped develop this strong team bond.

We also believe in educating future generations and have worked with local schools and colleges for many years, offering work placements to students.  This allows them to gain actual work experience during their studies.

Business:
Heaton House’s owner and registered manager, Sally Neil-Smith, won the outstanding achievement award for services to the community at the 2014 Worthing and Adur business awards. We are also proud members of many local networking organisations including:

Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce
Worthing Business Circle
Worthing Independent Networking

Sally Neil-Smith is also an ambassador for the Worthing and Adur Chamber Of Commerce.

Charity:
We are ardent supporters of local charitable causes. This year we are supporting:

Breast Cancer Now
Ferring Country Centre
Turning Tides
St Barnabas Hospice
