We recently held our annual charity fundraiser, and once again our garden was filled with sunshine, laughter, and the irresistible smell of freshly baked scones as we hosted a Cream Tea party in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. It was a truly special afternoon that reminded us of why community events mean so much.

Charity fundraiser events are always a highlight of our summer here at Heaton House.

It’s a great opportunity to bring together our residents, dedicated care team, and wonderful family members for an afternoon of fun, connection, and giving back.

An afternoon of entertainment

Our guests were treated to some brilliant entertainment provided by Keith Goodall, whose live music and entertainment had everyone tapping their feet and singing along. He even got everyone involved with a game of ‘name that tune’, which sparked plenty of friendly competition.

The fun continued as guests put their knowledge to the test in our summer quiz, tried their luck at the tombola, and eagerly waited to see if their numbers were called in our grand raffle!

Supporting a Cause Close to Our Hearts

While the afternoon was full of joy, the purpose behind it made the day even more meaningful. Thanks to the generosity of all the Heaton House family and guests who attended.

Supporting impactful charities is something that our community holds very close, and seeing everyone come together for such a great cause was truly heart‑warming. We’re already looking forward to planning our next charity event and continuing to make a positive difference together.
